Throwing Away Our Kids Lunches

How would you feel if your child's lunch was taken away and thrown in the garbage. I know plenty of you have heard this story. 

A school in Utah took as many as 40 lunches from students, because they did not have the money to cover it in their account. They took the lunches and threw them in the trash. That had to be a
cold person to do something like this. I don't think I could have been the person to do that job. If the children were already eating lunch they should of just let them to continue to eat them and send home a notice that afternoon or with a phone call. I do not feel that the children should have been punished for something that was the parents fault. But on the other hand the parents need to be held responsible for not making sure their children had money in their account.
